The Central Missouri Economic Development Alliance (CMEDA) fosters cooperation among economic development partners to strengthen economic growth efforts in Henry, Lafayette, Johnson, Pettis, and Saline counties. Situated in central Missouri, the area is known for the major highways that intersect the region, centers for higher education, tourism, manufacturing and logistics operations.

The region boasts a stable population and employment base, a desirable location for business given the options available for affordable land, efficient transportation networks.
